In fact, Bilbao is closer to the Atlantic Ocean than Nantes (15 minutes versus 56 minutes according to Google Maps), but it's pretty unambiguous that the Atlantics are the team formerly known as Nantes Atlantiques, coming from the main city in the Loire-Atlantique department.

Bilbao won the Basque derby 2-1, so our brilliant champion was able to dodge a bullet a here.
