'The drop in TV numbers coincides with a reported drop in attendance for
this year's race in Austin. Track officials said earlier this week a
three-day attendance at Circuit of the Americas of 432,000, a drop from
last year's record 440,000.

So the question begs, why the drop? Has Formula 1 interest in the U.S.
peaked?'

Attendance in 2021 was 400K
Attendance in 2022 was 440K
Attendance in 2023 was 432K

Hardly something for them to get worried about.

last week the magazine cable tv show gp confidential said that apple tv was interested in the tv rights - with liberty leasing them out or something.

dropped for three years and now likely four, since F1 is no longer able
to hold practices, qualifying or races without artificial interruptions.

This drop is withing the statistical error, so not significant.
Nothing to be worried about.
The other thing is how to make races more interesting, i.e. teams to
be more equal in performance. Dominance of one team is boring, so they
have to do somenthing about it.

There's always a Ford Fiesta series or Nascar. Might suit you better.
