I'm with you there. Showalter is one of the best men in baseball.
Perhaps his only weakness as manager is his mishandling of the bullpen.
He's become one of these analytic managers that think a minimum of 7
pitchers in needed to get through a nine inning game. Still, he better
than any of the names I've seen so far bantered about.
While we're on the subject of "Not Happy", I'm outright pissed when I'm
reading articles about trading Alonso; and now I read he wants to go to
the Cubs. If we lose Alonso, Cohen will become as popular as Wilpon.

Alonso just hired Boros as his agent....hopefully the Mets can extend him 7/210 or around there. Boros might try to convince them he's a $35M player though, yikes.
