With the two rookies in the lineup and Yaz swinging a hot bat (finally) the Giants are producing runs again. Wood is about at his limit for innings pitched, but with a 9 run lead, the Giants should cruise in this one.

Giants 11 Brewski's 1 (top of the 6th)

Schmitt so far? 1-3 batting .338 Bailey is 3-3 batting .350. Both of them are young replacements from the minors. Bailey at catcher looks like he's going to replace Bart. He is being compared to Buster Posey. Schmitt looks like the replacement for Crawford. He's also got a cannon for an arm and can play anywhere on the infield.
