Instead of giving the fans any false hope mid-way through the season,
the Mets appear to be signalling that the 2024 season is lost already.
They are lifeless and a total bore to watch. I'll follow in the
newspapers or online for the near future but not waste my evenings
watching on tv. An unexpected win streak can change all that, of course.
