Chargers completed an interview with David Shaw for their head coaching job.. They’re now in compliance with the Rooney Rule.

Shaw worked with Harbaugh at both USD and Stanford, succeeding him as head coach at the latter job. Seems like the signs are pointing towards the Chargers announcing Harbaugh pretty soon. Only sign that might augur otherwise is that they also interviewed Vrabel today, perhaps as a backup plan if they can't come to terms with Harbaugh or he simply decides to remain at Michigan.
