The Chargers now have 55 rostered players. This is consistent with both
OverTheCap and Spotrac, although OTC currently lists 54 because they
haven't added Perryman yet:

https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/los-angeles-chargers/cap/

https://overthecap.com/salary-cap/los-angeles-chargers

The Chargers have signed seven external free agents: LB Denzel Perryman,
C Bradley Bozeman, LB Troy Dye, DT Poona Ford, TE Hayden Hurst, TE Will
Dissly, RB Gus Edwards

They have re-signed four of their own free agents: Easton Stick, Alohi
Gilman, Cameron Dicker, Foster Sarell.

They traded Keenan Allen and released Mike Williams, Eric Kendricks, T
Andrew Trainer and CB Amechi Uzodinma.

Of the Chargers' 25 players who became unrestricted free agents, five
have signed with other teams: Michael Davis, Austin Ekeler, Gerald
Everett, Kenneth Murray, Jr. and Amen Ogbongbemiga.

Two re-signed with the Chargers, and 18 remain unsigned, to my
knowledge: Zack Bailey, Essang Bassey, Will Clapp, Keelan Doss, Alex
Erickson, Will Grier, Jalen Guyton, Jaylinn Hawkins, Justin Hollins,
Austin Johnson, Joshua Kelley, Raheem Layne, Blake Lynch, Dean Marlowe,
Tanner Muse, Cameron Tom, Nick Vannett, Nick Williams

You'd think the Chargers would sign some of them for depth.

Of the remaining UFA, I think I'd re-sign Clapp, Erickson, Hawkins,
Johnson and maybe Kelley. Not really aware of having seen anything
promising out of any of the other players, excepting Guyton pre-injuries.

Austin Johnson is the only "name" in this group. He was a starter last
season for the Chargers. He might be worth bringing back, and any safety
and cornerback depth. Bassey started a couple of games at slot corner.
Hawkins is a safety, and so is Marlowe.

A lot of these players I know very little or nothing about.

I hope they'll draft a center and not have to consider bringing Clapp
back. And they still have Brenden Jaimes, who filled in at the end of
the season when Clapp went down--although who knows if he'll make the
team this coming season.

BTW, I didn't realize until I put this together that the Chargers had
signed 11 free agents already (including 4 of their own). That's pretty
good work by the new management.
