Whatever it was the pressure is still way more on the Rangers, even tho Jersey was a slight fave coming in. Jersey could look at it like we looked at the Giants last year....just getting there after a long drought feels good. Not so for the Rangers coming off a final 4 appearence, expect changes if Jersey knocks them out.....Maybe Panarin gets traded.....Maybe Gallant gets fired...Maybe Drury goes too, i put nothing beyond Dolan.....

And what about the big trade for Kane with all his playoff experience? Even in the games they won scoring 5 goals per game. did Kane or Panarin even show up?

And remember I have said all series that the Rangers' power play was the key to the series. Well, they were 0-4, and in fact the key goal that broke the 0-0 tie was a shorthanded goal by the Devils. No power play goals, and the Rangers lose once again.

You cant expect to score on the power play every game, it just doesnt work like that. To me it was simply the other stars besides Keider didnt score, power play or not....even tho they were facing a no name goalie, but give the Devils defense credit to, not like Schmid was over worked. If you get shut out twice by a no name you deserve to lose......and also Fox comes up small in game 7, thats why he will never be Brian Leetch.

They scored power play goals in 3 games and won them all. Their power play did not score in 4 games, and they lost them all. Looks like a correlation to me.

Well yes it tells you they sucked 5 on 5.....you cant COUNT on penalties by the other team....in any sport. The ONLY time the Rangers looked like they belonged on the same ice was the power play, whether they scored or not, that is why they lost. The devils looked like they had a power play 5 on 5 for long stretches.

In all the losses, they had several power plays, I think at least 11 total. No scores and 2 short handed goals given up;
