Methinks it should be #3 seed in the NFC. And I think that is realistic. After Philly and SF who in the NFC really scares you? Why cant the Giants rise to #3? People keep crying the Schedule is harder but the Giants are supposed to be better too. And getting Philly 2 out of the last 3 games is a schedule break if you ask me. Gives the Giants a chance to improve during the season and if Philly is so great then the last game may not mean anything to them. And yes we play the AFC east but so does the rest of the division. So maybe we do not win the East but i think #3 seed isnt a pipe dream.

Oh i guess even if the Giants have the 3rd best record they would still be 5th seed if they do not win the division, so lets just say 3rd best record in the NFC

And in fact......thats not even asking for much improvement.....The Giants had the 5th best record in the NFC just last year....so 3rd would only be a 2 spot improvement!
