I expect him to not sign and sit out most of camp.....BUT if he doesnt promise to play by game 1 im thinking of giving that money to Dalvin Cook....a YES from Cook is better than a MAYBE from Saquan, im not letting him hold 2023 hostage, you cant just wait because then everyone else is gone, up to and including Cook.

I really wish he would have signed but I think this is a good sign that Shoen is going to be a tough negotiator no matter who it is even if Mara is pushing to sign a player. He is not going to overpay and that is good for the team. Also Saquan never did get much better at blocking.

They do have the option of adding to the tag that they will not tag him next season. This might get him to sign now and get to training camp.

I hope signs. He is to important to let sit for a full season.

Barkley's worst nightmare (as is any hold-outs) is his replacement
excels given the opportunity. When that occurs, the hold-out loses
nearly all his leverage.
