When i think about it im not surprised.....Wink does have some of that Buddy Ryan ego in him...and Ryan and Ditka hated each other on a WINNING team! add the Giants losing not a good recipe for a lose cannon like Wink...Only question is do they promote a wink protege or just scrap the current D start over next year.....dunno who available yet.

Daboll was asked about this at his press conference, and said the only argument they have is over who gets the last slice of pizza. Now if the reports are true, you would not expect Daboll to acknowledge them. But Daboll did give Wink the game ball after the game. To me, I interpret that as a sign that maybe there was some tension, but this was a peace offering.

i Get the feeling that wink at 60 senses time is running out for him to land that coveted HC job...but of course losing teams are not plucked for that job and the Giants offense isnt helping his case....perhaps that is where the tension comes from....Winks D seems to look great vs the also ran teams....but totally get their doors blown off vs good team like dallas or philly.....its like there is no middle ground its either they play great or totally suck. The D has to be more competitive vs the elite teams before anyone will offer wink an HC job anyway.
