High-level NCAA investigation, but this one is of a different kind!

It appears the NCAA is alleging a high-level and pervasive scouting and sign-stealing operation (including apparently a centerpiece of a low-level football staffer with military experience, according to ESPN's "sources"), where the operation sent out scouts to future Big Ten opponents and potential CFP foes to steal their signals for a potential game against the Wolverines..

Seems like this guy was only hired in '22? So, it would apply to last year and this year but not '21. I actually didn't realize the NCAA banned in-person scouting in 1994 as an equity measure.

The staffer has been suspended by the university, with pay, for the investigation.

Apparently, he was only paid starting in '22, but had been volunteering since '15. Started the scouting and sign-stealing program in '21. Maybe this led to his employment?

Nothing from That School Up North would surprise me. The real question is if
they will renew Harbaugh's contract.
