Google Group goes down and now the stupid people who could only figure out
how to toenail their way into Usenet using Google Groups have no clue how
to proceed.

It's very confusing to them and they are, I'm afraid, lost forever to us.
Many of them never knew what Usenet was or that they were somewhat
participating on it.

For them, a last lifeline may be Facebook? Who knows?
