Gee, this guy is facing 25 years in prison for shipping bikes to Mexico.

So why is it that drivers who kill cyclists on the road get nothing or
probation? We have funny law preferences around here sometimes.

Depends on where you are and who you are.
In some places it's nearly impossible to go to jail.

Ah well, only 7 years since he was charged with murder. He may die of
old age before he comes to trial.

In business when there is more work then can be accomplished in normal
work hours the company goes into over time, Sunday work, and so on.
Perhaps the courts should do the same.
