"It was a blustery blustery day...."
We had wind gusts strong enough to make my old house creak all night,
woke up to ~ 2" of slush. I haven't been home yet to see if there was
any damage to the trees in my backyard.

The wind on the way to work this morning was enough for me to keep both
hands on the wheel. The highway was mostly just wet, but some slush
built up between the lanes meant taking a bit extra care when changing
lanes. Still, traffic was light enough that it took less than 30
minutes, which is actually pretty typical on a normal day during
commuting hours.

I checked in with the family to see if there were any issues during the
day - nothing at my house but just down the street from my house a FedEx
truck failed to negotiate a corner.. My wife just sent me this an hour ago:

Our lead SW engineer stayed home- he lives in Derry, NH, said he had a
foot of heavy wet snow and no power, couldn't get out of his driveway.
Other reports show an hour north of me saw well over a foot with 80 mph
gusts - further north/northeast, mode snow, more wind.

So far, we got off pretty light.
