----------- is there an element of wordplay in this??? « syndrome de la pile à lire »

So i guess, in French, you put Le in front of everything
like La salade, Le fractal, Le blowjob ....................

and that's why French guys say: [ I love the salad.]

No, it’s just slightly different contexts where the article is (felt to be)
needed, compared to English. See a current parallel thread on Chilean Spanish.

My Irish is poor and I finally have some consistent free time; I received a
Duolingo subscription as a Christmas present, and one of the agreeable things
about learning Irish as an English speaker is that the rules for where the
definite article is needed are basically that of English. Not the case at all
for other languages with articles.

Bealtaine == May

Bealtaine is one of the four major Irish Celtic annual festivals along
with Samhain, Imbolc and Lughnasa. It signifies the return of the light
and widely observed throughout Ireland, Scotland and the Isle of Man,
while May Day celebrations occur throughout Europe.

---------- this reminds me of the [Wicker Man] movie
starring Nickolas Cage

and the one in Switzerland and Booog

The Böögg is the main protagonist at Zurich's Sechseläuten spring
festival. And there is more to this snowman figure than first meets the eye.
