Burkhart Grob created a beautiful sailplane! UF is a great ship and flies well. Not just pretty, but as I became familiar with the internal mechanics, I have been most impressed with the design and engineering that Grob put into the 104.

I have had great fun flying the G104 (N16UF) for badge work and the many cross countries originating in the local and TPH areas. However, as much fun as I have had, and as much experience I have gained, I am anticipating a move away from Las Vegas in the next couple of years and am looking to "down size" ..
I’m asking $20,500 for the everything, and here are the features and particulars of this excellent ship that you’ll get:
Glider: Grob 104 Speed Astir II
Design: 15m Racing Glider (ballast-capable)
Registration: N16UF
Certificate: Experimental
Year: 1979 (s/n 4005)
Gear: Retractable (main gear)
TTAF: 1512 hrs
Configuration: Standard flight controls
Spoilers (Large)
Flaps (-7 to +10 degrees w/ drooping ailerons)
Avionics: Nittel VHF comm radio (FSG-2T)
Trig TT21 Mode S Transponder (recertified 6/30/2023)
Cambridge Vario
302a Cambridge Data Logger
Equipment: Battery (PowerSonic 12v/12AH, All-attitude sealed LA battery, 6/5/23)
O2 tank with regulator / lines (one spare regulator)
Boom microphone
Extras: Komet glider trailer (with spare tire and spare lift strut)
Parachute (unlimited life)
Fuselage stand (with wing pins)
Wing stands & sleeves
One-man tow-out gear (wing castors and tail dolly)
Tail tow bar
Manuals (operator / assembly / inspection)
Annual: Due 30 Sep 2023
The condition inspection was completed last month, and it’s ready for another year of soaring fun!
I will be glad to send pics, and would have included some here, but I haven't yet determined how to attach pics in this post .. Please contact me at soaringboomer@outlook.com, uberfluggen@gmail.com, or 702.365.1064 (m).
Thank you!
Boomer
