All 3 completely within the Goldilocks Zone.

Don't let your head deceive you, these are places with life.

What possible evidence could you possibly have that Venus is capable of sustaining life? I'm pretty sure that you are the one who is being deceived here...

"The habitable zone is the area around a star where it is not too hot and not too cold for liquid water to exist on the surface of surrounding planets.."

This is my own version of evidence. I'm pretty confident that liquid water on the sueface of Venis is currently quite impossible. Where is your own evidence?

It was *you* who mentioned the Goldiolocks zone, which is the habitable zone around a planet. As of today, Venus does not qualify. Perhaps it was in the past and maybe it will be in the future, but right now... no. If you think otherwise, I would sure like to see your evidence.

Maybe Venus is hot, but the solar radiation is kept away by the clouds. The Goldilocks zone means the world is not too close nor too far away from the solar radiation.

You can see this evidence if you stop crashing words together like a freight train.

All I did was to look up the definition of "Goldilocks Zone", and it seemed clear to me that Venus, right now, is not in it. Your mileage may vary, but you have not actually provided any definition at all.

Sure, at some point in its history, or perhaps in its future, Venus my have or will support life... but right now that extremely unlikely and the is zero evidence that supports current life on Venus... unless, of course, *you* have such evidence...

You clearly do not know the definition of the word "evidence" as it applies to science. Look it up and you will learn something new.

With all the AI's around at the moment college physics is probably the easiest one for write a program that would pass exams easily.

One of my long-ago professors always railed the shit hit the fan when it came to understanding the material. A lot of maybe smarter than average people can memorize facts and spout them endlessly. He called them "fact spitters".

But when it came to applying what had been supposedly learned, esp if it required imagination, a lot of smart people fell by the wayside.

Avi Loeb writes a lot about academics that get too associated with the status quo in science and end up being a drag on it because they cant accept anything new. basically, anything that started to be taken seriously after they went to school. :)

Too bad they did not teach you about the Scientific Method. I learned about that in high school.... perhaps the college assumed that you already knew about this very basic premis.

I've already taken college physics, too... and earned degrees in physics, math and astronomy, way back in 1969, so I've probably forgotten more physics than you have even learned, and I can pretty much guarantee that Venus cannot sustain any kind of life whatsoever at this time in its history. Technically, Venus is in the Goldilocks zone, but as I said before, it cannot now sustain life. Here is some light reading for you...

Technically, Venus is in the Goldilocks zone, but as I said before, it cannot now sustain life. Here is some light reading for you...

Science will *always* have a long way to go... and my own understanding of science barely scratches the surface.
