Today I thought whether they may be another species that wears
clothing besides humans.

Caterpillars put on a form of clothing before they become butterflies.

Is this proof that humans wear clothing to get their heavenly wings?

Human clothes are no mystery: why we lost our fur, and why we need clothes today:

Some insects cover themselves or parts of themselves with stuff from the
environment as camouflage or, in the case of spittlebugs, to hide. For
example, an assassin bug, _Acanthapsis_, puts the bodies of its prey on
its back. Caddisfly larvae often decorate their cases with local sand
or twigs.

You are off-topic for sci.bio.paleontology, Dale. We discuss what
are called "prehistoric animals" [and other extinct life, but mostly animals] here.

The exception is that when "Beagle" [and before it, "Darwin"] goes down
for time to time, I am hospitable to "exiles" from talk.origins who are not
able to post there as long as downtime continues. I do not object
under these exceptional circumstances to posts that are on topic for t.o.
but off topic for s.b.p.

All the regulars of s.b.p. were OK with such posts under these circumstances -- until a downtime a year or two ago,
when erik simpson reacted violently to the fact that Glenn was one of the welcomed "exiles,"
while deceitfully acting as though he had always disliked this arrangement.

He hasn't objected to your presence here now, and I doubt that he will,
now that I've commented on this.

However, with Beagle doing well for months now, there is no good reason to dilute
s.b.p. with posts like your OP here. Please try to be on topic with your next OP.
