Abuse does seem to have a bulling factor, one of the folks I know is man
mountain ex rower and similar in unsurprisingly news traffic is very polite
to him, compared to another chap who is cox!

And does seem more prevalent to happen to women, quite apart from being a
relative large chap and so on, my commute has low conflict points being
mosty parks and few miles of old cycleway and for leisure I tend ride off
road.
