But I'll add, Henk, that you are actually polite, so I try to be
polite with you. (Unlike some others here, who only seem to believe
that they are polite....) And as I've said so many times here, I
would prefer simply to discuss classical music recordings, and leave
the rest aside. It is much easier to accept other disagreements
with someone if they are not constantly being thrown in one's
face....

In my own defense, I don't think I have ever begun an OT post. Usually when I ramble on economics it's in response to someone's incorrect economics (not politics), or occasionally I am even asked. I know I have commented, or speculated, on the economics of the recording industry, so that even isn't off-topic. I'll leave it to others to determine of climate change is off-topic.
