If you have turned off the top menu then top right there are three
little horizontal bars

Click

Select View

Select Toolbars

Select Menu Bar and that turns on the menu bar at the top of the screen
- go back to start of message.

The three little bars disappear if you turn off the mail toolbar.

If you go to view and toolbars and turn on the mail toolbar the three
little lines appear on my version of Thunderbird. I feel that the
designers who feel clutter on the screen can be considered optional seem

Ah, sorry, my fault. Since Windoze 10 suddenly decided my ancient Agent was
incompatible, I've been using my old netbook. Some part of it has been
nagging me to let it correct the date and time, I've said yes at least
twice but don't seem to have the desired result. I've just reset it
manually - no idea how it gained a day.

Well I crossed the international date line earlier this year and I am
sure it is still yesterday.

Charming little film - do watch it if it comes round again. Totally
unlike any other Hitchcock; no horror (though someone - Harry - is
dead); rather whimsical. (Possibly because Shirley MacLaine (sp?) is in
it - her first film.) Some lovely lines (some of which are in my quote
file, like the above one). Nice scenery - New England I think.

Today, at least according to the World Service, restrictions on having
cooking fires in the woods, etc, have been lifted in British Columbia,
including here on Vancouver Island

Now where's my box of matches?

I was talking to a friend down in Ohio a week ago, she was saying they were
having weather problems as the winds were coming from that direction.
There’s a tribe of in laws and descendants, mostly in Alberta though they
have little to say to me about anything.
