Hmm, looks very tempting! I particularly like that it runs on 4 AA; my
wrist one uses 2 AAA. IMO the AAA size is an abomination: for the slight
saving in size of things that use them, the reduction in capacity just
isn't worth it, as well as having to keep both sizes. (Not that I'm not
impressed with what cell manufacturers have achieved; had you told me
two or three decades ago that you'd get an amp-hour in AAA and nearly
three in AA, I'd have been incredulous.)

If it jams - force it. If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway.

I agree wholeheartedly about the abomination factor attached to AAA cells,
half the capacity but virtually the same price! I don’t think the
difference in diameter enables very much slimmer devices anyway - just more
waste and greater profits for the battery industry.

That's interesting, I thought. Never mind the Archers, here we've
got four pairs, probably for the first time ever.

Some kind of tournament, surely, probably tied in with whatever the
current Ambridge fest is. I quickly ruled out contract bridge,
decided it must be tag wrestling, and was quite looking forward
to the Franks v Titcheners bout. A pity it didn't quite work out.
