Very true!

A few years of > 200Kgs ER6n was enough.

I see they do a low (720mm ?) seat option and I liked the low centre of
gravity on my R90/6. The sub 200 Kgs Morini 1200 had a high one which
didn't help.

Riding my 100Kgs super low, 10 BHP super tourer tomorrow. With the wind
forecast, that could be interesting. Hoping the top of the Long Mynd is
not featuring in the Levis trial this year.

Correct in theory, but I didn't really want to wait. A bird in the
hand and all that. Plus I suspect the "wait for the 1300" is more
likely to work for a GS rather than RS, they being a lot more
plentiful.

Anyone who knows Brentwood will understand when I say I sometimes had to

As a punishment I sold it to a Morgan owner, who wanted a crankcase.

And once again I proffer my thanks to those gentlemen from this
establishment who helped me bump start the XV* on the island a few years
ago <thinks> Gosh 18 years ago, kinnell.

[1] actually not died so much as had been 'mismanufactured'. When I got
home I took it apart, rewound it (mostly using the same wire) and made
the internal collections *properly*!

I am sure there are some who will associate my instrument choice with

But you are going to have to explain how a misreading of sympathiser
became a BSA Bantam.

I wouldn't call a GS top-heavy. Not compared to an XR, anyway. That was the thing that really stood out when I had one as a loaner. The low-speed poise was literally the only thing about it I liked.
