The trick is to tell _everyone_ that they have been co-opted into the
society - and the fees are xxx per year.

The ones who can't be bothered to cancel are your hard core members.

Since my four days in hospital messed with my personal 'time zone', and
increasing incidences of pain first thing in the morning literally kicking
me out of bed, my routines have fallen apart and I keep forgetting to take
the things which generally reduce the amount of pain I get.

I saw my doctor recently, having made the appt 6 weeks earlier, to discuss
the pain I am in. She ordered an x-ray, which I finally had last week - two
weeks after I saw her - phone for results this Friday. She also suggested I
self refer for physio. Well I did that last year and had my first appt in
January, followed by 3 or maybe 4 more. After every session, the guy (head
of dept, apparently) said 'See you in a fortnight' - I never did. It was
always 3 or 4 weeks later, and none since April :( I made enquiries and he
phoned me, full of apologies, and made an apt the following week. Two days
later a letter arrived cancelling the apt and asking me to phone for
another. When I did, I was told they had not dates for November yet...
