It depends on what is meant. "On the defensive" if he is trying to cover
up a misdemeanour of his own (which knowing Justin...), "on the defence"
if he is acting to assert the innocence of or to protect another.

"on the defensive" sounds plausible to me, unless it was meant to be
"Justin finds himself on de fence", presumably having been stranded on
one of the obstacles around the cross country course.

Maybe Harry is part of the scary dog owner group and they tell him no
more of the drugs he's addicted to unless he kills Jolene on Sunday at
the egg hunt. Kenton overhears and is finding optimism hard at the

I don't think that's really his style. Setting dogs, sorry, hounds, on
foxes, while chasing them on horseback is fine by him, but setting dogs
on each other would be far too chavvy to be acceptable in his book.

His doctor, Azra Malik, is also in this week's cast, so I assume he (and
his mum) are going to get the results of the tests we heard about (or of
some subsequent ones), a few weeks ago.

Me too! (Are _we_ related?) As well as Jane Austen, Helen Keller,
Muhammad Ali, Ernest Rutherford, FDR, Wilbur Wright (though oddly they
don't mention his brother), Elvis, Emily Dickinson, John Wayne, Judy
Garland, DiPOW, Walt Disney, Shirley Temple, Ginger Rogers, and two
others I haven't heard of (Bob Ross and Susan B. Anthony). I guess at
least half of those will be via the adopted line that, I must admit, I'm
not really interested in. (And by the time we get to Ginger Rogers,
we're talking 14th cousin. Though that _isn't_ via the adoption, so is
possible. But it is to her husband.)

I’d just settle for knowing if Karl Howman, late of King St Junior, is
related to me. Never heard of any of the rest of his work, can only assume
my only Howman cousin, also born in 1953, isn’t a soap fan cos she’s never
mentioned the name to me. She isn’t an R4 person.

I’ve just finished reading a book about Winston’s children which was a very
good read.
