I am having trouble finding button thread. I suppose no one makes
clothes anymore, or reattches buttons that have come off.

I know today's clothes are crap and mostly not worth reopairing, but
I'm old fashioned and use button thread to repair clothes and upholstered
furniture.

There are places that sell thread, often polyester but not cotton
button thread.

There was a munkjack in my garden this morning. t seemed to be munching on
weeds, so I observed it from indoors to avoid disturbing it. After a few
minutes it wandered off. I imagine they are quite tasty.
