I have done it by breaking the leftover slivers up into a
mug-or-something. When there's "enough", cover with water till it all
turns into sludge, then leave somewhere warm to dry, squashing
occasionally if I got impatient. Slow business, but doesn't take any
actual jbex.

Anybody unforget Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans ? Some horrible
landfill got flooded and all the mdia were chanting "toxic gumbo", so
some blog I was reading called for other hideous recipes.

My favourite was "secret black and midnight haggis". But "Leek and
potato soap" would be up there, along with "Pea, and ham soup", which
sadly is only an aural joke. See also "Lancashire hotspot".

That should not work. It will be just a lot of bits of soap in a bag, in
effect. How does the soap get out?

I know some planes were made of an alloy called duraminium, which no doubt
the Americans could not spell either. The Jodel planes were made from it.

It might still have a market for the blind, as often you have no clue where
it went. So if you boil water and shove soap in and get it all soft, can
you actually remake it with a mould?
If so then maybe the renewable energy and a battery might be the way to go.

Yes but in much the same way as the KTel record vacuum, they never worked
very well.

I reckon that soap called shield with its pattern of colours must have been
all the left overs. You had to watch soap though, many had a piece of
plastic in the middle for no apparent reason other than to make it look
bigger, but it did have less left over. Brian

Nah, you used to be able to buy those for less than a quid from markets.
Made of some lightweight metal. I don't think trolleys were sophisticated
enough to detect real coins. Brian

So, what is the real point of having the coin hole in the first place? Is it
to stop people using them for other purposes, like filling up canals,
shorting out railway tracks or something?

I wonder if you could cut soap to fit? You could probably get 2 pound coins
out of one left over.

It does not work, I said that in my post.

I think that you get a curvature which means it can never glue together over
