I have a fairly new phone number that I have a hard time to remember when
somebody asks for it. It would be nice if it would show up somewhere on the
opening screen, so I don’t have to search for it in the Contacts list. Do
you have a solution for this old-age problem?

If it's an individual, the modern technique is to ask for their number and
ring then there and then.

Alternatively, a sticker on the back of the phone works.

Really? I was hoping for a cooler solution. For instance adding my number
to the screen that shows up when I press the right side button. Right now
it only shows the date and time.

had to remember far more than just my own phone number. Apparently just
this one important number is one too many these days.

book especially for those called infrequently.

Of course back in my day kids received all available vaccinations which is
no longer the case. Maybe we are on a downward spiral toward idiocracy. I
don’t blame smartphones but the people who use them and the people they get
their misinformation from.

I had a play on the way home and managed to get a shortcut working with
backtap to display a contact's phone numbers temporarily.
