I'm no longer sure what the distinction is. I rarely find that what I take
needs post-processing for the purposes where it is displayed.

I know for me, but there's also pre-taking processing which is mostly done in the mind.
Such as what is the aim of this shot.
To some extend camera phones decide for you.
