A favourite pianist of mine in Bartok’s Mikrokosmos 5 and 6 and the sonatas with Pauk. I love his fresh interpretation of Liszt’s Années Bk 1, and I think his small form Schubert is well worth a listen too. There may be other fabulous recordings I don’t know about, if so, please say.

I liked him. He was a bit type-cast with Naxos as a cheap way to buy recordings but he was bigger than that.

The reason identity politics works so well is because most people have no individuality these days; they are just part of the amorphous mass.
