At the time that WhatsApp were reputed to be bringing in new terms and
conditions that appeared to be making your data available to others I,
along with no doubt others, installed Signal and contacted all my
family to do similar.

The problem was that all my family were stuck with WhatsApp as that is
what their family and friends used.

I don't think I managed more than half a dozen messages by which time
WhatsApp retracted/clarfied it's position though no doubt lost a good
deal to Signal.

My current only use for Signal is that I've just ported my phone to
spusu who conveniently use Signal for support.

I would expect that the folk that the OP is intending to make easy
contact with are unlikely to be Signal users.

I would have agreed 10 years ago. Now FB at least does fact checking. If
you want Hate Central, you want to look at Thick Tok.

Why don't you know what my point is? and why do you think the link is

My point is if you care where you put your money and what it is used
for, you ought also to care where you put your data and what it is used
for. If you don't well that's up to you I guess, but I would never
recommend Whatsapp to anyone.

All I am saying is we all make mistakes.My "your" was wrong agreed but
