Loving your enemies means trying to save their souls. When a friend tells

Friend, you might want to read up on what those puberty blockers and
hormones actually do to a person. There were articles not too long ago
of girls getting significant back issues which made them walk like they
were 90 years-old. In all cases, they sterilize the person taking them
and they, with gender reassignment, prevent them from ever getting any
kind of enjoyment from . There were also articles of people who had
undergone the treatment regretting it and wishing they could go back
because their lives had been ruined. Unfortunately, they are and were
being suppressed by the obsolete media you trust. Similarly, the 49%
suicide rate of transsexuals who have gone through the reassignment
should wake you up to the fact that they aren't saving or helping people
at all; they're making things much worse.

That is addressing people who were preemptively offered care,
specifically outside the established protocols, obviously unethical
and poorly informed professionals can bork this, it doesn't mean that
trans people don't exist. I'm as skeptical as the next person about
the necessity of some aspects of gender-affirming care, but for kids
who have been through the process correctly, who understand what
they're getting into, it saves lives.

When you're talking about hermaphrodites, you'll find that doctors
traditionally tried to make the best decision they could when the child was
born. It turns out that wasn't always a good idea. Apparently they are now

So we currently have this situation. For the hermaphrodite (small number who
really do have sexual "ambiguity") it is best to wait for puberty. For
children who are physically normal, the idiots are advocating puberty
blockers and hormone treatments BEFORE they even reach puberty.

If this makes any sense at all to you, then you're not thinking very clearly.

Reading on, this is not a source you can use in mixed company. I will
tell you something, the Checkmate lefties accused me of watching FNC
when I defended Justice Kavanaugh, but it was actually The Washington
Post that I was getting the scoop from. I also caught enough of the
testimony to doubt the alleged attack had to do with Mr. Kavanaugh,
rather than one of his high school buddies, and there were no other
credible allegations, despite the hysteria. Arguably, the new
congress probably should have been sworn in before the hearing, rather
than having it right before the 2018 election, but it isn't as
egregious as when Barrett was confirmed before the 2020 election. But
the point is, some people are better able to cope with information,
than others.

Your ignorance of trans people speaks for itself. You don't really
know them, except in the abstract of your mind.

Detransitioning is a problem when there's a failure of the system to
guard against making a wrong decision - rarely, if ever, does it
result from the protocols being followed. Your documentary has some
merit in the scope of what it reports on, but it does not contradict
the science.

Having mental problems doesn't negate being trans, or needing gender-
affirming care if one is.

I would definitely think that the bare minimum age for the genital
alteration stuff is 16, and that would be outlying cases where the
person had really been through the process to that point, as it has
historically been in practice. But puberty blockers and hormones are
more established as a standard treatment - not that one must use them
to qualify as trans, by any means (my GF has never had any affirming
care, she looks like a woman without breasts basically), but they are
a very sensible treatment, and I believe the most meaningful if one is
primarily concerned with "dysphoria" of the sex of the body. The
genitals are more of a private, intimate feature.
