That is not the case. The EU had been manufacturing and selling
Pfizer vaccines to the UK and other countries. The UK was manufacturing
Astro-Zeneca vaccines and refusing to sell them to the EU. Once this was
clear the EU decided not to supply Pfizer vaccines to the UK until or
unless the trade in vaccines was much better balanced.

Well, I agree. If only the various peoples and parties in the world would
look at history and realise that short of complete genocide, eventually,
these different factions will have to compromise and live next to each
other. We would have no war in Ukraine, Gaza or probably anywhere else.

Well, if we have a hard border, we'd be in breach of a treaty that we
signed (in which the USA also has a strong interest).

I also have seen no benefits of Brexit at all at all. In fact the opposite.

But from a global point of view, it's a great benefit. EU is a socialist
and authoritarian experiment with a severe democracy deficit. UK showed
that it is in fact possible to break free, and I hope many more countries
will do in the coming decades.

International trade has existed since way before the EU so the EU is not a
necessary condition of that.

Now I'm just waiting for a Thatcher in the UK who can restore the UK to
become the worlds financial center, and once that is done, no one will
doubt the wisdom of leaving.

Just look at Switzerland, not a EU member, and they did pretty well for
themselves without any natural resources to talk of.

The ones at the bottom will. Thatcher was a rude, common, blue rinse

from preventing it. I make it a practice to avoid mention of her name in

That's right, it was about how communist unions were destroying the
country, Thatcher sorted them out.

Thatcher was the best peacetime PM we ever had, prepared us for the

political sensibilities wise, it's seconds out, ding-ding.

Bagsy me the beer and hotdog concession.

Our side also ended up paying for a lot of that and it's not been long
since we paid off the loans we got from the Yanks to [ay for the War.
