I don't think so Jill . If they ain't supplying you they aren't
making any money . There are other entities that want to control us ...
and it's a lot easier to control someone who is cold and hungry . Hey
Man , all ya gotta do is take this little shot and we'll turn the power
back on and let you go buy groceries . See how easy that was ?

I don't use a wood burning stove or a fireplace to provide heat or to
cook. I don't live in a cabin in the woods. The "they" who might cut
off the electricity would be the electric company if I didn't pay the bill.

My electricity supplier just lowered the unit cost a teeny tiny bit.
And they raised the daily standing charge, which I pay whether or not I
use any electricity.

My electric bill is not that high, no matter what time of year it is. I
do not rely on wood burning anything to heat my house or to do cooking.
Snag lives in a cabin in the woods. Totally different circumstance.

We were talking fossil fuel here, not climate models.

I think outer space could be quite nice! ;) Particles are a part of life.
But that's the green agenda in a nutshell, eliminate all human life.

Or they can get health care and the rest of us can get on with life

Whether or not you benefit from that depends on your usage . Our
provider also has a minimum billing , but we use a good bit more juice
than the minimum . Before we moved up here full time we would have the
power turned off when we knew we wouldn't be up for a few months . Same
with water supplier .

No , we were talking about heating with wood . Which we do , with a
propane backup for times we aren't home for a couple of days in winter .
Jill is correct we live in a clearing out in the woods . Not exactly a
"cabin" though . 1500 sf with vaulted ceiling in the dining room/kitchen
and a storm/storage cellar under the dining room/kitchen .

You are ***exactly*** right, Snag, we've already seen this during the manufactured Covid hysteria, when those who refused the jab were fired from their jobs, thus depriving these people from a livelihood...

Or people were deprived of their civil rights, being arrested for attending church, for example, during the bogus Covid "lockdowns"...

Or in Canada, when some of those involved in the trucker's strike not only were fired, but had their bank accounts frozen...

Or professors on some US uni campuses are fired for not hewing to the politically correct "Diversity/Equality/Inclusion" line...

Even happened here in Oak Park IL to their Libray Director, this woman was *Black*, BTW...!!! And her "thought crime" was focusing the Library on *books*:

https://wirepoints.org/executive-director-fired-by-oak-parks-library-board-wednesday-journal-of-oak-park-and-river-forest/

Executive Director fired by Oak Park’s library board – Wednesday Journal of Oak Park and River Forest

"It comes after weeks of upheaval among some community members who objected to the way leaders, including Joslyn Bowling Dixon, handled a Palestinian cultural event, eliminated two staff positions, at least one of which related to diversity, equity and inclusion. Dixon, they said, was trying to position the library as a place for books only — an outmoded practice — and away from the community hub Oak Park’s library strives to be..."

"Our betters" in leftist crapholes like Canada, UK, Kalifornia, Illannoy, New Yawk, etc. were salivating like dogs smelling a T - bone when the Chinese shut down their country, banning people from leaving their homes, arresting them en - masse when they defied the flu restrictions, etc... brave patriots like FL Governor DeSantis, who defied the Covid nonsense were vilifed, as a war criminal might be...

SO - don't think it can happen here...???

Think again, FOOLS, the leftists in the US government would dearly LOVE to institute a Chinese - style "social credit" system to "control" the populace. The groundwork is already well in place in Canada and much of Europe with ominous "hate crime" laws/restricions that are reminiscent of how the old communist places like East Germany, Romania, the USSR (not to mention nazi Germany or present day communist China, North Korea, Cuba; along with Iran and Russia) used such "laws" to psychogically terrorise and thus coerce their hapless citizens...

With the collusion of corrupt Big Tech, the lying mainstream - regime media, and especially corrupt "progressive" democrats, it would be the simplest thing in the world to initiate - and us ordinary schmucks would have NO redress, let alone a say in the matter...

In fact FDR tried some of thus stuff during his disastrous "New Deal" (trying to stack the Supreme Court, the NRA, etc.... and then imprisoning US citizens of Japanese ancestry during WW II...)... as did Woodrow Wilson during his presidency, with his atrocious record of suppressing civil liberties...

Ronald Reagan wasn't kiddin' when he said this at his January 5, 1967 CA Gubernatorial Inaugural Address:

"Perhaps you and I have lived too long with this miracle to properly be appreciative...

Freedom is a fragile thing and it's never more than one generation away from extinction...

It is not ours by way of inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a people..."

If grocery stores ain't supplying you they aren't making any money.

What little shot? You're just making shit up.

Reminds me I'm overdue for a COVID shot, though. Thanks.

Everything in moderation. Particles compete with spores for the same

And that's the "little shot" I was referring to . Remember all the

THE FUCKIN' LOCKDOWNS ? Well , I'm still unvaxxed , and yes I've had

I wonder if this is just an individual with mental problems or if he
represents a much larger group of delusional Trump voters. I saw Greg
egging him on, for instance.

So, just let them die if beyond help. You have a great plan.

What about our grandchildren and great grandchildren when the oil runs
out? It will at some point. Does it not make sense to start planning
now for alternatives? How to conserve what is left?

Like most, I just used what I wanted with no thought, but at some point,
stop and look at the reality and what the industrial revolution has
done, both good and bad and correct the bad.

Your message brightened my day. I'm going to call the widow of my
friend that died from Covid and let her know you are doing well. He
caught it at work. I bet she was over reacting but you put in into
perspective for us.

Counties with high vaccination rates (herd immunity) had a greater
than 80% reduction in death rates compared with counties that had
low vaccination rates.

I certainly would rather live in a county with high vaccination
rates. Oh, hey. I do. The educated people of Washtenaw County
see the benefit in vaccines.

> REMEMBER
> THE FUCKIN' LOCKDOWNS ?

Remember the fuckin' lockdowns were before there was a vaccine?

I didn't stay home for more than a few weeks after the lockdowns
started. I worked for a defense contractor that was deemed
essential, so I went back to the office in May 2020. We all got
vaccinated as soon as it was available.

You don't even know if you had COVID. Your anecdote is meaningless
in any case.

Little baby afraid of a shot.
